QuelMot – Word Game Helper

Effective date: May 17, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Nagord ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the QuelMot Android application (the "App"), available on Google Play under the package name com.nagord.quelmot.

QuelMot is a word game helper: it finds words matching a pattern of known and unknown letters, and finds words that can be formed from a set of mixed letters. The App is designed to collect as little data as possible. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

The App does not require an account and does not ask you to provide any personal information such as your name, email address or phone number. The letters and patterns you type to search for words are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This service collects limited, non-identifying usage and diagnostic data, including:

Collection of the Android Advertising ID is disabled in the App. The App contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs.

The App also uses Firebase Remote Config to receive small configuration values (such as a "what's new" message). This does not collect personal information.

3. How We Use Information

The limited data collected is used only to:

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following Google services, each governed by Google's own privacy policy:

These services are provided by Google. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Data Retention

Analytics data collected through Firebase is retained for a limited period in accordance with Firebase's data-retention settings and is then deleted or aggregated. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Your Choices

You can limit or reset analytics-related identifiers at any time through your device settings (for example, by resetting the advertising identifier or restricting usage & diagnostics sharing in your Android settings). You can also uninstall the App at any time to stop all further data collection.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information handled by the App. The word dictionaries are bundled with the App and word searches run directly on your device. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the updated policy at this address.
